Qualifications
• Valid Illinois Cosmetology License
• 2+ years of experience in professional hair coloring
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and modern techniques (balayage, blonding, dimensional color)
• Experience with corrective color is a plus
• Strong consultation and formulation skills
• Commitment to ongoing education and skill development
• Strong attention to detail and time management
Responsibilities
• Deliver customized color services, including blonding, dimensional color, and toning
• Conduct in-depth consultations and create tailored color plans
• Formulate accurately and maintain detailed client records
• Educate clients on maintenance, toning schedules, and home care
• Recommend professional products to enhance longevity of color
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of color station and tools
• Stay current on trends, techniques, and salon education initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless guest experience
Team members earn a combination of hourly pay, service commission, and tips, allowing strong performers to increase their earnings as they grow their clientele.
