At Salon SEN, we believe in developing the next generation of stylists through hands-on experience and mentorship. Our assistant program is designed to provide foundational skills, real-world salon experience, and a clear path toward growth behind the chair. We are committed to fostering a supportive, team-focused environment where learning and creativity are encouraged.
Qualifications
• Enrolled in or graduated from a cosmetology program (license preferred or in progress)
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in hairstyling or color
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities
• Support stylists with daily services, including shampooing, blow-drying, and prepping clients
• Assist with color applications and treatments as directed
• Maintain cleanliness of salon, stations, and tools
• Greet clients and help create a welcoming salon experience
• Restock products and supplies as needed
• Participate in educational classes and training sessions
• Observe and learn from senior stylists to build technical skills
• Help ensure smooth daily operations of the salon
Team members earn a combination of hourly pay, service commission, and tips, allowing strong performers to increase their earnings as they grow their clientele.
Team members will have opportunities to grow into leadership, training, and management roles. We are building a team that will grow with the company.
